Key Ingredients

• Shea Butter (20%): rich in essential fatty acids, antioxidants, and vitamins, Shea Butter is quickly absorbed into your skin, acting as a “refatting” agent, restoring lipids to rapidly hydrate hands.  Our organic Shea Butter originates from Ghana where it has been handcrafted by local women of the sub-Saharan Savannah-Sahel for decades. The butter is extracted from the nuts of the Shea tree that grow across Africa. The sustainable story of Shea butter production is its greatest asset, providing women with a secured income for their families. The women will harvest, clean & press the nuts themselves and negotiate their own price with local distributors. This raw material has made significant positive impacts on communities within Ghana & delivering new & stronger infrastructure to so many communities that were in need.

• Avocado Oil (1%): an excellent source of antioxidants, anti-inflammatory agents, essential fatty acids, minerals, and vitamins to help your skin stay smooth, strong, and elastic.  Our Avocado Oil is pressed from farmed fruits that are not quite pretty enough to eat and would otherwise be wasted.

Packaging

• Aluminium Tube: aluminium is infinitely recyclable, requiring just 5% of the energy required to make new it from scratch.  A whopping 75% of the aluminium used in Europe is recycled each year, compared to 40% for plastic waste.  Our caps are made from HDPE, which is widely recycled.

• Cartons: our cartons are made from recycled cardboard and are fully recyclable.
